Michael Blaustein

 

Michael Blaustein brings extensive experience in government affairs and public policy. Michael is the Policy Lead for Airbnb in the Northeast, focusing his work on helping New Yorkers navigate the affordability crisis through funding of key groups and initiatives. He began his career with the New York State Senate and then a public affairs firm. For nearly a decade, he worked at the Partnership for New York City.

At the Partnership, he led the organization’s federal and state government affairs, focusing on building coalitions and fostering collaboration between the private and public sectors. He played a key role in the business community’s advocacy efforts on significant initiatives, including congestion pricing and the Clean Slate law. 

 

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany and a master’s from Cornell University.
